NARRATIVE
PURPOSE CLIENTS

HARVEY is a guy that owns a studio and named it after himself. He hired other people to do work for him in the following areas: print, illustration, identity, and motion graphics.

Hi, I guess you can call me the HARVEY Narrator. I'm here to tell you what HARVEY "is" exactly. Quite a daunting task, indeed. But, I'll approach it like I approach most everything in life...like a bull in a china shop, completely void of tact and appropriateness.

The best way to begin is to say that HARVEY can do it all. They are a walking, talking, 4' x 4' cube squeezed in a 1' x 1' container of imagination just waiting to explode. HARVEY's main priority is delivering you the necessary creative results in getting your audience's attention. No matter what the project, no result is the same at HARVEY. The approach they take to a project is often defined by how beautifully unique they understand each one to be. From identity to motion graphics, art direction to illustration, HARVEY is an exceptionally well rounded studio.

"Wait a second, mister, of course you'd say that! They paid you!"
"Pipe down, little Timmy, I really meant it. Now run along."

Biased a little? Mmm...maybe. But here's why - the proof is in the pudding. Both founding partners have the first thing that should be on your check list when looking for a design studio: they hold BFA's in art from one of the top art schools in the country. Ross Pike graduated with his BFA in graphic and interactive communication and later interned at the Whynot Associates of London. Justin Harder graduated with his BFA in illustration and has worked as both an illustrator for American Greetings and a designer for several studios across the country.

But what about "portfolio diversity", you ask? In the dictionary under those same words you will find a picture of...well, nothing. To save you the trouble, I'll just tell you: HARVEY HAS portfolio diversity. They pride themselves on producing new, innovative work every time out, never settling for the first right answer. HARVEY has a knack for treating every project as if it were a lost puppy in need of a home. With the proper feeding and nurturing, the puppy blossoms into a mature, self-sufficient hounddog. Only then does HARVEY unleash Skippy McProjectington onto the unsuspecting public! Growl.
A side note to the puppy anecdote: HARVEY raised it on time, under budget, and more aesthetically and conceptually satisfying than ever expeted. Kudos!

All this talkie and not one mention of the eenie-weenie, miniscule detail that HARVEY has fun and loves what they do! Heck, four out of five dentists, say HARVEY's even good for your teeth! No joke! Avoid those large, mass-producing, money-hungry, design big boys and go with a studio that cares. A studio that is proud to call you their friend, as well as their client.

Thank you very much for reading this portion of the site. Now sit back, relax, and take a leisurely cyber-stroll through the rest of HARVEY.

Enjoy.

Our purpose here is to have fun doing what we love...dancing with our pants down. NO! I mean, well, of course, but that's not our PURPOSE!! It's doing artwork that transcends all categories of possible nomenclatural division! See, we're doing it already!
